We are proud to introduce the AT-222D2, the rightful successor to the highly acclaimed AT-222D "8I-II0 Distortion", carrying forward its legendary, classic distortion character.
While preserving the signature sound of the original, the AT-222D2 features structural refinements that do not affect tone, a completely redesigned PCB layout, and carefully reviewed component selections.
In an era where prices continue to rise, we have chosen a different path—offering the AT-222D2 at a lower price point than its predecessor without compromising its performance or craftsmanship.
Advance reservations for this model are expected to begin in July 2026.
We are currently preparing to resume international sales through the Cat'sFACTORY online store, including shipping to the United States and Australia.

For enhanced noise shielding, the paint has been intentionally removed from the backplate screw holes and internal tooth lock washer contact points.

The silver component installed in the INPUT jack position on the sample unit is a temporary dummy jack used for LED testing and is not included with the final product.
